The Rhydd Pobl refer to the bulk of the inhabitants of the world as Rooted Folk - i.e. people who live in stone, who live in one place always, people who do not roam the land throughout their lives, who may never see anyplace that is not a half-day walk from their door (so they can get home by dark).
