Northern Hope
Type: PLACECurator: Public
Description
Sometimes formerly known as "Northern Curse", the town of 600 people is the primary settlement in the new grant of Nulain, 200 leagues from Dargon. Many families from Beinison-occupied Pyridain were relocated in this area, which was carved out of the Duchy of Asbridge by King Haralan Tallirhan. The town is governed by regent Kael Forester and a council of six other respected townsmen, including Carron, Darvale, and John Thomaso. Northern Hope was infamous for its ill luck until the wizard Anarr arrived and removed a cursed statue from the nearby Mariencap. In celebration, Yuli 30 is now an annual general holiday in Northern Hope.
