Description
Noble come to Dargon; Son of Eli I, brother of Mattan and Eli II; married to Sarah. Father of Eli Barel, Eleya, Jen, and Taffy Barel. Blacksmith and engineer by trade, adventurer by avocation, he learned the secret of making stainless steel from Sarah. As a young adult he was kidnapped by Baron Claywall and forced to make engines of war. Once repaired a ancient clock, and developed deep diving bells to raise sunken gold. Traveled south to see Pudlong's beanstalk. Helped create a fake to replace the magic bean stolen by Mon-Haddar.
