Description The traditional homes of the nomadic Siizhayip are called ghur. Ghurs are low, dome shaped structures of hides covering bent poles woven together at the top to form a smoke and air hole. Easily set up and taken down, yet sturdy enough to withstand the fierce plains winds, the ghur is well adapted to the Siizhayip lifestyle.
