Harbormaster's Building
Description This imposing landmark is the only building on Dargon's Commercial Street that has stairs on the side facing the water, thus making it a good perch for overseeing the port and the open square. After the daily bells are rung at Dargon Keep in the Old City on the other side of the Coldwell river, the bells are then rung from the Harbormaster's Building, serving the New City and part side of the river. Inside, the building is all well-worn wood and thick layers of varnish, like many contemporary town halls. In addition to the harbormaster's office, where traffic in the port is overseen, the building also houses nautical charts and the ducal customs assessors.
