In order to enable us to sort the stories in story-date order, and to accommodate both the Baranur Year and Imperial Date, Gerolevan, and Farevlin Era systems, a third calendar called Eelail Era (EE) which dates from the founding of the Eelail civilization (see On the Prowl 2) was created. Year 0 EE equals -2931 ID, -5297 G, -5300 FE and -6153 BY. Converting ID, G, FE, and BY to EE will then properly align the calendars, as shown on the following table that depicts some of the pivotal events in Makdiar history:
