This is a means to an end, to be sure, for the Project (if not for the authors). The actual goal is to actually help people with their writing. But towards that end, getting more of us published would make us look more credible, and possibly bring more people in.

On an only slightly related note, when I was on vacation in Jamaica last
week I ran into the former executive publisher for Travel and Leisure
magazine (Ellen someone ... wanted me to go to Fiji with her, but Megan
said no. :) ) Anyway, I was gently querying her re: publishing tactics
for DZ. She seemed interested to hear about us, but I didn't want to
overstep the bounds of a new friendship.

"Answer: In Pakistan, where the Americans will never find them."
