Description
Duchess of Arvalia during the Great Houses War; deceased c. 925 B.Y.
Although a Stevenic, she opposed King Caeron Tallirhan's coronation by Cyrridain Tallirhan, Master Priest of the High Church of Magnus and sided with the insurrectionists supporting the claim of Aendasia Blortnikson to the Baranurian throne for this fact alone as she had otherwise supported his claim as the superior one. Even so, it was only under pressure from her brother-in-law, Duke Luther Monrodya that she joined the war on the side of the Insurrectionists.
Emmeline Arval was not a warrior, but a scholar, and partook in the war only reluctantly.
At the time of the Great Houses War, she was in her forties and her hair was completely grey. Throughout her life she tended to wear her hair pulled back severely, and dressed in simple, dark dresses.
