Gold Sovereign
Description In the early days of the introduction of the King.s Standard, someone in Narragan inadvertently used gold in the Sovereign (silver) coin mold. These coins came to be known as a .Gold Sovereigns.. They are often valued at 1.25x a Crown, because they contain 25% more gold. However, some consider them less valuable because they are not .legal. coins. Some collectors will pay much more for them. In addition, unscrupulous merchants will sometimes insist that they are worth a Sovereign, regardless of what they are made of.
